Comprehensive routine eye exams
Eye examinations are an essential part of health maintenance for people of all ages. When you come in for an eye exam, not only do we perform the essential glasses and contact lens exams, but we also evaluate the overall health of your eyes.
We accept Eyemed and VSP for our routine eye examinations if you are using a vision plan - give us a call if you are interested in knowing if you are in-network with your plan and what your copay may be.
If you are paying as a cash pay patient, our exams are $149 and include a wide-field retinal photo and/or dilation.
Medical eye exams
With state-of-the-art technology, we can accurately diagnose and manage conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and more. We are able help preserve your vision with an earlier diagnosis and offer better treatment options.
We accept most major medical insurance plans including Medicare, Anthem, Aetna and United Healthcare. Give us a call to see if you are in-network.
Contact lens exams & trainings
Contact lenses are not one-size-fits-all. However, thanks to advances in optical technology, almost everyone is a candidate for contact lens use. We will discuss contact lens options that suit your eyes and lifestyle and determine a best-fit prescription. This may include single vision for distance, or monovision or multifocal options to get you out of those pesky readers.
If you’re a new wearer and interested in being fit with contacts, we will schedule you for an Insertion & Removal (I&R) training after your routine exam. You are taught how to safely insert and remove your contact lenses, as well as the proper care for your lenses. Dr. Hanke will make sure the lenses fit properly and you can see clearly. Typically we require a 15-minute follow up visit 1-2 weeks after your I&R to ensure your lenses will fit properly for the entirety of their use.

Look around at our wide selection of frames. We are sure we have something that will fit your style; whether you like classic, funky or fun. We offer progressive or lined bifocals, trifocals or single vision lenses in many different materials. We will help with the best style, design of lens and material based on your needs. Anti-glare, blue light filters, transitions and more are also offered.
